The joke of mistaking Honkai Star Rail with Mega Man Star Force was funny, I love both games and both the Mega Man and Honkai franchises.

I think there was a patch for it but a particular chip was unabailable in the english version of battle network 6 when the requirements were reached for it. You had to play the The reason it wasn't in the english version originally, is because the English version didn't have the last area in it. Just keep that little tit bit in mind if you plan on playing these.

Yep, I also quit back then when I bought THIS one specifically back on the GBA thinking "Oh Mega Man, I haven't played this series since MMX4 back on the PSX" Said 15 year old STUPID me "It's used and on sale (I was in Gamestop back when they were worth a damn) so lt me buy it, if I hate it I can always come back and give it back and get something I like (this was back when they had their 7 day return policy for Used games, don't know if they still have it as it's been a decade since I checked really)" and frankly it cost me 4 dollars (not the game, the bus fare to get to and from the mall when I returned it! Well that's a HALF LIE, I had a student pass so I wasted nothing, that was just for lunch LOL) because I returned that shit REALLY quick (I tried since the moment I bought the game staying at the mall for a few hours playing it then at home and I KEPT DYING TO THE FIRST SET OF BOSSES and had alot of WHERE THE FUCK DO I GO) and frankly NEVER tried this series again till X4, and beat it (though I think I used an easy mode or something) and never touched it again, actually preferring ZX and Advent till the DS collection released then I beat all four games again though since that was STORY MODE where the games are set on easy as they push you onto the next game upon beating the last boss and well NEVER TRULY played all FOUR games on their DEFAULT difficulty (yes that means TOLERATING Z1 DYNAMIC ADJUSTABLE DIFFICULTY where the game adjusts to how good you're playing! Seriously I laughed after beating Resident Evil 4 back on the Wii when I found out that it turns out the game was balanced around how good I was, meaning me doing GOOD was why at spots I had an easy time and in others I was like "My kingdom for another bullet" even on repeats where easy areas became hard and hard areas became easy! Frankly I'm divided on this type of thing in that I feel the game should just have SET difficulty at the start and stick to it! Punishing players for getting good by tossing them into SUPER HARD is just plan MEAN) I only TRULY beat them as they were intended with the Legacy Collection. And that's likely because This game TRULY WAS my TRUE first "Like Dark Souls" game in being BALLS HARD and unforgiving in explaining LITTLE to nothing! (Funny since I never TOUCHED ACTUAL Dark Souls LIKE till the Nioh on the PS4! I found I like SOULSLIKES just not the ACTUAL From Software Soulslike games funny enough! Not that I dismiss those games their good Nioh is the reason I even GAVE the entire "GENRE LIKES" a chance! Similar to how RE4 helped me get over my fear of horror in general and now I'm a BIG fan of them both book/Comics/Manga/Movies/Games! Made me a BIG RE fan, well original Trilogy, RE4 and the Remakes of 1-4 anyway! Not much of a fan of 7-8 and hate 5-6). Now I laugh at the game. But then the Legacy Collections tend to add functions that CURB the BULLSHIT to make it TOLERABLE (It's less I have TIME for games since I'm an introvert loner with no friends or friends who have families to deal with LOL! And more I have a BACKLOG to play! So I have little time to play the "PLAY IT RIGHT" now anymore! Straight Forwards is what I love! You know thinking about it Rideman is just another in the boat of navi you think is on your side, backstabs you, then becoming your ally for real this time in this series game and anime.

I need someone to give PoN and LoN the same treatment Sonic fans have given to games like Sonic Triple Trouble, an old Game Gear game which got a full ass remastered remake by it's fans. Stuff like this should be more possible for battle network too, since there's already engines and fan games out there that recreate Battle Network's systems nigh perfectly and also the fact that an RPG would be mostly about reworking the puzzles and the areas rather than making new artwork or intricate animations.

A full-fledged game, or two, based on the mobile games would´ve been really great, and could´ve set-up some things for Starforce; however, we ended up with some anime episodes with just Cache and LoN´s ideas reused for the Mu continent in Starforce 2.

If anything, the games depicted in this video are full of wasted potential, requiring some amount of effort from fans to even make it enjoyable.

I find the digital netscape makes more sense as a pre-existing higher (or lower?) parallel dimension that Dr Light merely tapped into and manipulated into a coherent, human-useable format via using Navi as mediums. Things like "the power is drained from this area" and "there's power stored within the Net in the form of digital batteries" makes a lot more sense in that context. I find it even makes the "elements" make more sense, as they'd be the equivalent of 9 basic elements (untyped, 4 elements, 4 physical types) to our periodic table of elements in the real world, rather than something that coders arbitrarily program in such a way that bestows them weaknesses and strengths against each other. Basically, in our real world, the internet was made by just wiring different computers together. In Megaman NT Warrior / Battle Network, the Internet was made by making devices tap into a non-euclidean parallel dimension and sending artificial intelligences (Progs for routine tasks, Navi for flexibility) into it in order to have remote communications between devices. So it's more that any part of the "Net" is a reflection of real-world devices, technology, locations, etc, either artificially fabricated or spontaneously occurring, but not directly dependent on a given networked machine being turned on in order to exist.

Really they should have just dropped the Dark Chip plot and just turn the Duo plot as kind of a Mortal Kombat plot, have Regal & Laserman tried to rig the tourny so that he could win in order to claim Duo's power. Then pissed he was denied cosmic power he makes the Dark chips in BN5. Something I didn't notice until recently is that there are only 2 evil original navis for Nebula in this game. Just LaserMan & Shademan. All the other "evil" navis are just from the tournaments. Which I'm honestly surprised Video, Spark, Burner & Cold are not actually Nebula agents like they are in the anime. All 4 of them are clearly selfish evil buttheads.

Honestly, I wish these got the remake treatment, especially that 2nd game. Flesh out the stories a bit or combine them into 1 game with an in-game timeskip and i think it'd probably sell and be well received

Oh yeah about forgot. Murkland is a place in this game, but its post game, doesn't elaborate the plot at all and just has a place to reset your karma if you tended towards evil (doesn't give back your hp lost from dark chips). Oh and its also the place where you can find a buffed base in a random encounter after you beat him in the post game.

Man, at this point I really wish you could get access to the physical PETs, especially the Progress one. While they don't have a story, they do have some gameplay (again, especially the Progress) and it would be fun to hear you talk about them. Regardless, it's always a joy to hear you talk about this series. Looking forward to the next post-game videos for my BN fix :P

another God-send that they did for BN6 is you don't bump into random encounter in certain mini-game, unlike BN4 and 5 where you can't stop bumping into one every few step, which cause the already long mini-game to even longer.

I MIGHT know why DaVinci gets confused by .hack, but it's just a theory. DaVinci was first released exclusively for Linux and Mac OS X - the former is what's referred to as "extension agnostic", meaning it doesn't particularly care what the file extension is, it'll look into whatever file you feed it and determine from its contents what it is and how to handle it, while MacOS, being a Unix system, handles file extensions in a file's metadata, which is why most versions of MacOS don't show extensions by default, as they're not important. DaVinci's Windows port likely freaks out if it sees a . in a file's name whenever it's not supposed to be there because the devs didn't think of such a possibility, being Linux folks.

Teisel was my favourate megaman legends character, a kind caring and slightly goofy older brother who will always aid and be there for his family.

One thing i liked about zero 3 was if you connected to a battle network game (i believe it was 4) you could replace the normal enemys in cyberspace with battle network viruses. So its cool. I wonder if the legacy collection kept that.

the thing with encounter rate maybe because of the map is weirdly bigger than before, specially the normal comp...they are so huge, make running around just to check any mysterious data is there kinda a chore to do.
